Funding Opportunities
Who can apply: Eligible agencies must generally be 501(c)(3) nonprofits in existence for at least 3 years, serve clients without discrimination, file a recent IRS Form 990 or 990EZ, keep management/general/fundraising costs below 25%, maintain an active local governing board or advisory committee, provide acceptable audited or reviewed financial statements, certify compliance with anti-terrorism laws, and carry general/commercial and board liability insurance. Eligible programs must have operated continuously for at least 2 years, demonstrate success, address a community need in health, education, or financial stability, and serve residents of specified Galveston County Mainland ZIP codes.
Deadline: Funding applications for 2027 open on February 11, 2027, and the deadline to submit applications is March 31, 2027.
