Who can apply: Generally eligible applicants include faith-based institutions, Indian tribes and tribal organizations, labor organizations, nonprofit organizations, partnerships and consortia, schools, school districts, institutions of higher education, and state and local government agencies. Projects must operate exclusively within South Carolina. Organizations within their first three years of grant funding must provide combined in-kind and cash matching support equal to at least 24% of the total cost of operating the AmeriCorps project.
Deadline: Tentative RFP release: January 1, 2027; Letter of Intent due: January 29, 2027; full application due: February 26, 2027. Projects begin August 1, 2027 and end July 31, 2028.
