Turrell Fund Regular Cycle Grants
Who can apply: Applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations with projects or portfolios serving children, especially the youngest children, and their families in Vermont or New Jersey's Essex, Hudson, Passaic, or Union Counties. Priority is given to organizations serving areas with limited quality services and high concentrations of children and families facing systemic barriers, and to organizations pursuing systemic change through policy and advocacy. Applicants seeking support for birth-to-five programs must demonstrate results supported by rigorous measurement and analysis. One year must elapse before applying again, regardless of the application outcome.
Deadline: Regular cycles are held annually in Spring (January 1 at 9 AM through February 1 at 5 PM) and Fall (July 1 at 9 AM through August 1 at 5 PM). The next inferred Spring cycle is January 1-February 1, 2027. New applicants must submit an LOI before becoming eligible for a full application; the cited 2026 LOI deadline was June 30 and that window is closed.
