Who can apply: The nonprofit organization must be located in Forrest, Lamar, Marion, or Perry County and be registered as a charity and in good standing with the Mississippi Secretary of State. Projects must address a community need in youth opportunity, healthy community, and/or financial security. Funds are for one-time expenses or short-term projects only and are not for ongoing program expenses, event sponsorship, or capital campaigns. A nonprofit organization can receive only one approved Community Development grant per fiscal year.
Deadline: Reviewed in the first week of each quarter (July, October, January, and April).
