Thomas Guy Woolford Charitable Trust Grants
Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit metropolitan Atlanta organizations that are fiscally sound and serve important community needs. Organizations must generally have a record of successful operation and have operated without a deficit for at least one year. The Trust makes gifts to institutions organized and operated exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, or scientific purposes, with priority for organizations in metropolitan Atlanta. Requests from outside metropolitan Atlanta are not accepted unless the organization was specifically named by the donor as an eligible recipient. Political organizations, churches, individuals, and requests for general operating support such as salaries, maintenance, and debt service are not eligible.
Deadline: Applications received August 1-November 30 are considered in January; applications received December 1-March 31 are considered in May; applications received April 1-July 31 are considered in October.
