Annual Snapdragon Book Foundation Grant
Who can apply: Applications must be connected to a specific project at a specific school library serving children from PreK through 12th grade. Eligible applicants include U.S. school libraries, including alternative schools such as youth detention centers, and schools in U.S. territories. Public libraries, afterschool programs, organizations applying on their own behalf, and schools outside the United States are not eligible. Schools may reapply annually, and no matching funds are required. Funds must be used as promised within nine months.
Deadline: Applications are accepted from November through February each year. The 2026 application deadline was February 8, 2026; the precise deadline changes slightly each year and is posted on the application form.
