About Shelley Allison Suzie's Friends Foundation
A single $275,000 general-fund grant to the Community Foundation of South Georgia stands out as the foundation’s defining commitment in the latest record. The Shelley Allison Suzie's Friends Foundation Inc also gives repeatedly to animal rescue and sanctuary groups, with additional support going to a local ministry and a children’s program. That mix shows a pattern of flexible funding across a few recurring relationships rather than a large number of one-time awards. In the recent grants list, All About Animals Inc appears in multiple years and receives both larger and mid-sized support, while Joppa Ministries is another repeat recipient. Smaller grants extend the same approach to groups such as Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary Inc and Cat Ranch Sanctuary Inc. The foundation’s named recipients point to a portfolio that includes regional philanthropic infrastructure, feline and small-animal rescue, faith-based local work, and therapeutic or recreational support for children. Most awards are general-fund grants, which suggests the foundation often backs operating needs rather than tightly restricted projects.
