Who can apply: Applicant must be a charity as defined under the Internal Revenue Code and have a 501(c)(3) determination letter (or IRS/legal opinion certifying public charity status under 509(a)(1),(2) or (3)). Grants will not be considered for organizations that discriminate based on creed, gender or race. The Foundation is not currently accepting requests from Twin Cities organizations that have not been previously funded.

Deadline: To be considered for the first meeting of the year, applications must be received by January 5. To be considered for the second meeting, applications must be received by May 1. To be considered for the third meeting, applications must be received by August 1. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
