About Elevate Prize Foundation
The Elevate Prize Foundation makes large, targeted awards to social-innovation organizations selected through its Elevate Prize program, backing scalable solutions that use technology or novel program models to address social problems. Recent grants show a willingness to fund both global maternal/child health technology (in India) and U.S.-based criminal-justice innovation labs, indicating a thematic interest in high-impact, scalable social ventures rather than local service providers. Grants appear structured to support program development, launch, and cohort-based scaling.

About Elevate Prize Foundation
The Elevate Prize Foundation Inc uses its prize platform to back social innovators building scalable solutions, from mobile health for pregnancy and early childhood to justice reform labs and tech-enabled education tools. The largest recent awards in the data are $350,000 grants to Armman for a program using mobile technology to enable healthy pregnancies, safe deliveries, and healthy childhoods, and to Rise Inc for the development, launch, and execution of Rise Justice Labs’ first and second cohorts. That same pattern appears across other prize recipients: the foundation funds organizations working on maternal and child health, criminal justice, education equity, climate, and human rights, often through structured award programs rather than open-ended local giving. Its support also extends to global changemakers, including a $250,000 Catalyst Award to Malala Fund for women’s and girls’ education in Afghanistan and a $250,000 award to Trevor Noah Foundation for learning and teaching environments in South African schools. The profile of the grants suggests a funder that favors mission-driven organizations with a clear model for scaling impact, especially where technology, convenings, or cohort-based growth can strengthen delivery.
What Elevate Prize Foundation Funds
Maternal and child health appears as a recurring theme in the foundation’s prize-backed portfolio. It gave $350,000 to Armman for mobile technology that supports healthy pregnancies, safe deliveries, and healthy childhoods, and $175,000 to Equalize Health to improve access to medical care and address leading causes of maternal and newborn mortality. In education, the foundation awarded $250,000 to Ubongo to use entertainment to reduce inequalities in education across Africa, while also funding $175,000 for TalkingPoints to address the communications gap in under-resourced minority communities. Justice and rights-focused work is also prominent: Rise Inc received $350,000 to develop and launch Rise Justice Labs, and Clooney Foundation for Justice received $250,000 for work supporting survivors of human rights abuses. The portfolio includes mental health and youth development too, including $175,000 to Weird Enough Company for literacy and teen mental health.
