Environmental Stewardship - A wildlife rescue facility in Vinton, located on protected Rio Grande Bosque wetlands, seeks funding to build a raptor enclosure to meet growing demand for rehabilitation services. As habitat loss drives more wildlife into urban areas, the center reaches capacity each summer. The new aviary will allow for safe care and recovery of birds of prey, supporting biodiversity, public health, and environmental conservation.

Education - Expansion of Junior Achievement's (JA) STEAM Career and Work Readiness Pathway Program, which equips underserved students with skills and exposure to STEAM careers through classroom lessons, a virtual career expo, and an in-person career fair. The program connects students with professionals, fosters career readiness, and builds a diverse, future-ready workforce.

Education - Teachers in Space (TIS) is requesting support for its Pathways to Space project-STEM workshops for 60 teachers serving underserved students in grades 2-12. Held in Las Cruces, NM, the workshops teach educators to build CubeSat experiments, covering coding, sensors, and spaceflight processes. Teachers will participate in high-altitude balloon and glider missions, gaining hands-on experience and ongoing support to bring space science into classrooms. Select teachers will also attend major spaceflight events to present student-led research.

Education - Scholarship support to award nine scholarships to deserving YISD students wishing to pursue a higher education in a STEM field upon high school completion.

Environmental Stewardship- funding to host an App Design Challenge focused on environmental stewardship for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults in the El Paso Electric service area. Participants will develop app ideas addressing issues like water conservation and energy efficiency, with finalists receiving training to build working prototypes. The project promotes STEM education, career readiness, and sustainability, and funding will support app design, outreach, supplies, and awards.

Education - Project ARRIBA's purpose is to provide an underserved/vulnerable population with an opportunity to succeed at living wage employment and meet local workforce needs through the attainment of postsecondary education.

Economic Development- The funds are to expand its workforce certification program, which helps individuals gain in-demand skills in sectors like advanced manufacturing, automation, aerospace, and AI.

Education - Scholarship support focused on helping to training STEM teachers.

Economic Development-Support of its Nonprofit Investment projects to include the annual Nonprofit Conference, El Paso Giving Day, and Power, Purpose, Plan: Fund Development training, a paid internship program at no cost to nonprofits, and a nonprofit study to better understand the composition of the nonprofit sector.

Economic Development- El Paso County faces a shortage of mental health professionals. To address this, our organization partners with The University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso Community College, and others to sustain a Training Institute that offers graduate-level internships for counseling and social work students. This helps grow a local workforce and expand access to much-needed mental health services.

Education - Scholarship program focused on students nearing graduation who need financial assistance to complete degrees in high-demand career fields.

Economic Development - provide comprehensive bilingual entrepreneurial development services through training, consulting and lending activities, concentrating on a deep dive approach that builds small businesses' capacity and strengthens economic impact in Dona Ana County, Hidalgo, Luna, Otero, and Sierra Counties.

Economic Development- Grant requested for upcoming home build, hoping to renovate an affordable home for a family in need.

Economic Development -Offer a Coaching Program throughout the year for small business owners located in the El Paso Region that are Latino/Latina owned.

Education- The El Paso ISD Education Foundation requests support for students in the El Paso Independent School District, will fund equipment-such as industrial refrigerators, freezers, shelving, and tables-for a new expansion site, enabling food-insecure students to access perishable, nutritious items, and will establish a joint scholarship with the El Paso Electric Company Foundation for graduating seniors pursuing STEM degrees. These initiatives reflect the Foundation's commitment to academic success by addressing key barriers like food insecurity and financial need.

Education - Scholarship Support for ten students.

Education- To provide scholarships for ten low-income students. With tuition set below actual costs to remain accessible, most students rely on financial aid. LPI offers rigorous academics, college credit opportunities, and strong college readiness programs, with 100% of graduates accepted to college each year.

Economic Development - Program to create and retain jobs by providing outreach and technical assistance to low and moderate-income microenterprise owners and participants.

Economic Development- Villa Maria is a nonprofit supporting unhoused women in El Paso by providing shelter, counseling, job training, and other essential services to help them rebuild their lives. Requested funds will cover operational costs like staff salaries, utilities, and program expenses. Villa Maria also seeks collaboration with El Paso Electric for energy-saving initiatives, volunteer engagement, and community outreach to enhance sustainability and impact.

Education- Kids Can, a CAASNM youth program, empowers rural children ages 6-17 to launch real micro-businesses through hands-on workshops, labs, and camps. By expanding into Las Cruces schools, the program builds leadership, financial literacy, and life skills while connecting youth to their community through mentorship and entrepreneurship. Grant funds will support staffing, materials, and program growth.

Environmental Stewardship- The Paso del Norte Trail seeks funding to plant desert native and adaptive trees along the Playa Drain Trail in El Paso's Mission Valley. This project supports environmental stewardship by improving air quality, reducing heat island effects, and promoting public health in a low-income, high-risk area. Trees will enhance trail use, encourage physical activity, and create a cooler, healthier environment for residents.

Education - Fund are to support a project aimed at improving educational outcomes in El Paso by increasing the number of high-performing, high-poverty schools. Building on its Annual School Rankings and identification of "Gold Ribbon Schools," Children at Risk will facilitate collaboration between these successful schools and lower-performing counterparts to share effective strategies, enabling cost-effective improvements in education for economically disadvantaged students.

Economic Development - Startosphere is an AI Accelerator that helps startups rapidly develop and scale using AI tools, mentorship, and resources. It aims to position the Borderland as a hub for innovation and invites El Paso Electric to partner, offering access to emerging technologies and economic growth opportunities.

Education - CGC is requesting funding to bring its Grief Talks educational series to three El Paso ISDs, aiming to equip school staff and caregivers with tools to support bereaved youth. With childhood bereavement affecting 1 in 10 students, the program offers free workshops to build school capacity, improve academic outcomes, and promote family stability after loss.

Education- Mija, yes you can is requesting a grant to expand our scholarship program designed to support young women that graduated from the greater El Paso area. Our scholarships will enable local women and girls to pursue their academic careers by providing necessary funding for required tuition, fees, expenses, enrollment costs, and supplies.

Education - Administer arts education programming to 1,200 children within Canutillo, El Paso, and Ysleta Independent School Districts, and La Fe Preparatory School for the 2024-2025 school year.

Economic Development- Money Smart Everyday (MSE) seeks funding to expand its financial literacy efforts, including Reality Fairs for El Paso high school students. These hands-on events teach budgeting and financial decision-making through role-play. MSE also offers presentations for adults and plans to hire university interns to support programming and create impact reports, helping build financial skills across the community. In addition, funding is requested to launch a DEIBA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility) initiative in El Paso County. The program will provide training to five nonprofits and small businesses to improve inclusive hiring practices and workplace culture, addressing systemic barriers faced by the region's predominantly Hispanic population. Using a "train the trainer" model, UCF aims to create lasting, community-wide impact by promoting equity, reducing poverty, and empowering marginalized groups.

Education - Young Women in Computing (YWiC),provides free computer science camps for K-12 students, focusing on underserved and gender-diverse youth in southern New Mexico. YWiC will host three camps in June 2025 to expand access and diversity in tech.

Education- Funding is requested to support and expand the Library's children's reading programs, including storytime, STEAM labs, summer reading clubs, and book-centered play activities. These programs serve thousands of young readers and involve guest presenters, supplies, and free books. Long-term goals include expanding collections, building a new branch, and renovating the existing facility to better serve the growing Las Cruces community.

Education - BGCEP will provide STEAM Initiative, which engages youth ages 6-18 in hands-on learning across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Through activities like 3D printing, coding, robotics, and virtual reality, the program builds critical thinking, creativity, and future-ready skills to inspire lifelong learning and success.

Education- The Strive Now mentorship program supports underserved students through workshops on habit-building, goal setting, STEM, and college/career readiness. In partnership with schools and nonprofits, it equips youth with job skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial thinking. The program also connects students with industry leaders and tracks their progress beyond graduation to foster long-term success and economic impact.

Economic Development - Funds will support a dynamic mentoring initiative designed to support young adults in El Paso as they navigate educational and career pathways. Through both individual and group mentoring, participants receive personalized guidance and collective support to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

Education- The Girl Scouts In-School Financial Literacy Program teaches girls in grades K-6 essential money skills like budgeting, saving, and investing through age-appropriate, hands-on activities. Implemented in schools by Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest, the program empowers girls to make smart financial decisions and build a secure future.

Environmental Stewardship - The Stewardship program will allow individuals and families in El Paso to actively maintain, manage, and expand conservation activities through bilingual hikes, classroom presentations, and youth outreach, especially in low-income communities.

Education - Programming for the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) gives high school students hands-on nonprofit experience and leadership opportunities. Funding will support student-led outreach projects in El Paso, covering event supplies and promotion.

Education-High school students in El Paso lack financial education, especially those from low-income, Hispanic households. Through a partnership with Everfi, students engage in financial literacy modules and compete in the Financial Bee essay contest, with ten winners receiving college scholarships.
