The Edward M. Dowd Foundation Grants

Who can apply: Applicants must be IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, not classified as private foundations under Section 509(a), and located in or serving the Santa Clara and Salinas communities. The foundation does not fund private individuals or organizations involved with political campaigns or politicians. Grantees must meet award conditions within 12 months and construction grants may require construction to have commenced before funding.

Deadline: Spring deadline: March 15; Fall deadline: September 15, both by 5:00 p.m. PST. If the date falls on a weekend or holiday, applications are accepted until 5:00 p.m. PST on the next business day.
