Who can apply: Applicants must have current federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) and not be private foundations under Section 509(a), comply with the application procedures, and primarily serve organizations or projects in Northern Nevada and the rural counties of Nevada. Funding is not available for direct aid to individuals, fundraising events or campaigns, deficit funding, conferences or seminars, dinners, mass mailings, grants supporting other organizations, sectarian religious purposes, or requests requiring permanent or continuing support.
