Dorsey & Whitney Foundation — Direct Grants (Foundation Grants)
Who can apply: Charitable organizations serving communities where Dorsey attorneys practice, with priority generally given to organizations in which Dorsey attorneys are actively involved. Special consideration is given to established arts, cultural, legal, and community service organizations where Dorsey attorneys serve as board members or officers and contribute significant time and personal financial support. Requests must be for at least $500 and in increments of $100. The Foundation does not fund individuals or private foundations and excludes several categories including national fundraising campaigns, sports organizations except certain service-oriented programs, political activities, and organizations with explicit discrimination policies.
Deadline: Applications are due ahead of the Foundation Board meetings, which typically take place in May and November (applications usually due in April and October).
