Community Grant Opportunities (annual grant cycles)
Who can apply: Organizations must have a current 501(c)(3) designation and serve Dallas County residents. Organizations located outside Dallas County may apply if more than half of the clients served reside in Dallas County; national organizations are eligible if at least 50% of the population served resides in Dallas County. Individuals, endowments, annual fund campaigns, fundraising event underwriting, marketing or capital campaigns, religious purposes, lobbying, and programs not serving Dallas County residents are ineligible. Organizations may submit only one application per cycle. Funding is single-year and must be expended within the 12-month grant period.
Deadline: The 2026 Summer Grant Cycle application opened June 10, 2026 at 9 a.m.; final grant decisions are expected in late September 2026. The content does not state an application closing date. Beginning in 2027, organizations generally cannot receive funding in two consecutive cycles or more than once per calendar year.
