General Grantmaking Program
Who can apply: Organizations must be recognized by the IRS as 501(c)(3) public charities operating in the State of Hawaii and advancing one or more of the Foundation's six focus areas. The Foundation does not fund individuals, projects outside Hawaii, political organizations/candidates, ordinary government services, publications/films/videos, commercial business development, conferences/seminars, benefit events, annual fund drives, endowments, or organizations that were recently granted funds.
Deadline: Applications are accepted twice yearly. For consideration at the March Grant Committee meeting, applications must be submitted by January 31, 4:00 PM. For consideration at the September meeting, applications must be submitted by July 31, 4:00 PM.
