Annual Church Mouse Thrift Shop Grants
Who can apply: Local organizations should be located in Beaufort or Jasper County, South Carolina, must have operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency for at least one year, and must have an active board of directors. International missions must be tied to a church or nonprofit located in the funder’s immediate area, be known to The Church Mouse, have local people making routine visits, and be tied to a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) acting on their behalf. Grants generally do not support rent unless it provides shelter or enables safe and decent housing, and generally do not support salaries, travel, meals, consultant fees, or routine operating expenses. Certain operating, transportation, maintenance, or repair costs may be considered when directly tied to the grant purpose and service delivery.
Deadline: Applications open September 15, 2026, and the 2027 grant application deadline is December 15, 2026. Grants are awarded once per year.
