Who can apply: Nonprofit agencies with annual operating budgets generally below approximately $3–5 million; primarily serve women, children, and families affected by or at risk of incarceration; dependent on private funding; do not discriminate or promote a particular religion. Agencies previously funded may reapply after a two‑year hiatus; grants ordinarily awarded for no more than ten years.
Deadline: Applications must be received by March 15 each year (annual application deadline).
