Cabot Family Charitable Trust Grant Program
Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status; benefit Boston and/or the contiguous communities of Brookline, Cambridge, Canton, Chelsea, Dedham, Everett, Milton, Needham, Newton, Quincy, Revere, Somerville, Watertown, and/or Winthrop; advance one or more of the Trust's stated focus areas; and not have submitted an application to CFCT within the last 12 months. Current grantees must submit a report on their current grant by the time of application. The Trust does not fund organizations outside the geographic focus area, sectarian programs of religious institutions, fraternal organizations, event sponsorships, matching gift programs, grants to individuals, or summer camp programs. Organizations may submit one funding request per year.
Deadline: February 1 and September 1 annually; if a deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, applications are due the next business day. Capital campaign requests are considered only in the spring cycle with the February 1 deadline.
