About Alon and Rosana Miller Foundation
The Alon and Rosana Miller Foundation gives at a high level to Jewish religious and educational institutions, with one Los Angeles-area religious center receiving repeated six-figure support for Torah and family learning. That pattern makes the foundation’s priorities unusually clear: it backs a small circle of organizations that strengthen Jewish study, religious practice, and community life. The largest recent grants include $330,000 in 2025, $320,000 in 2023, and $240,000 in 2024 to The Source of Life Inc in Encino for a religious center serving Jewish families. The foundation also funds student support and educational programming, including a $100,000 scholarship grant to Stand With US and grants to yeshivas, kollels, and related Jewish institutions. Its giving extends beyond local religious education to Israel-related education, IDF support, and advocacy-oriented work, but those awards appear alongside a broader, consistent emphasis on Jewish learning. The pattern is less about many small awards than about concentrated support for institutions tied to instruction, scholarship, and religious continuity.
What Alon and Rosana Miller Foundation Funds
Jewish education is the clearest throughline in the foundation’s recent grants. It gave $35,000 in 2023, $30,000 in 2024, and $25,000 in 2025 to Yeshiva Ketana of Los Angeles for a scholarship fund, while also awarding $11,000 in 2024 to Yeshiva Hebrew Academy for a school scholarship fund. Institutional support is another theme: Mesivta of Greater Los Angeles received $22,500 in 2024 and $20,500 in 2025 for school buildings construction. The foundation also supports advanced study and community outreach, including $15,000 in 2024 to Kollel Yechiel Yehudah to advance Judaic and Talmudic studies and community outreach. Beyond education, it has funded student-oriented and advocacy work, such as $13,000 in 2024 to Ashreinujam for collegiate outreach.
