General Grantmaking Program

Who can apply: Projects must be in the Philadelphia area and align with the foundation's mission and values. Organizations should have a strong track record, a board-approved strategic plan, exceptional volunteer and staff leadership, required infrastructure, and history of volunteer programs. The foundation funds discrete projects with clear objectives and measurable results, and generally does not fund operating support.

Deadline: Applications accepted year round; final grant decisions made twice per year in spring and fall. For consideration for the fall 2026 cycle, applications should be submitted between September 1 and October 15, 2026.
