Humble Leadership Award
Who can apply: Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or have a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status; be located in and serve communities in Orange County; have an annual operating budget of $1 million or less; not have received direct funding from Sun Family Foundation within the past three years; and be engaged in charitable work and able to receive grant funds. Ineligible applicants include 501(c)(4) organizations, political organizations, lobbying groups, organizations seeking capital or equipment funding, and organizations with senior leaders or board members who are staff members, family members, board members, donors, or vendors to the Sun Family Foundation.
Deadline: Applications open October 12, 2026 and close December 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM PT. Grant notifications and funds distributed in Q1 2027.
