Healthcare Foundation Strategic Priorities for Community Grants (2025-2026)
Who can apply: Community-based not-for-profit organizations providing outpatient medical services at no cost or low cost to low-income individuals residing in the Sarasota area may apply. Services must directly address the stated critical health issues, particularly reducing non-emergent use of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System. Routine operational expenses are not eligible. Low-income individuals are defined as those with income at or below the poverty guidelines periodically published in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under 42 U.S.C. 9902(2). Grant funds may be expended within 12 months of being provided. Recipients must submit interim and/or final reports describing fund use and outcomes.
Deadline: Application deadlines are November 30, January 31, March 31, July 31, and September 30 for the January, March, May, September, and November award cycles, respectively.
