Who can apply: Requests are evaluated on demonstrated need and community benefit; geographic focus on areas Royal serves, especially near office locations; significance and impact; organizational capacity and credibility; future sustainability; and demonstrated financial support from multiple sources. The foundation does not support direct grants to individuals, trips or travel, religious organizations for religious purposes, athletic facilities, sports team sponsorships, personnel or staffing costs, programming or operating expenses, or initiatives outside areas served by Royal.
Deadline: Complete applications received by March 1 and Sept. 1; application review in April and Oct.; anticipated decisions in June and Dec.
