General Grants (Tijerina Foundation Grants)

Who can apply: Eligible applicants are nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) that operate and/or provide programming and services to people living in Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, or Willacy counties in south Texas. Funding is not available for programs or projects outside these counties, individuals, political or legislative causes, debt service, or establishing a foundation, trust, or interest-bearing account. Specific initiatives with defined dates, goals, beneficiaries, and measurable results are generally favored over general operating or brick-and-mortar requests.

Deadline: Grant applications and letters of inquiry are welcome on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
