Who can apply: Applicants must be established organizations located in North or South Carolina, classified as public charities and qualified under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations with pending 501(c)(3) status are not eligible. The Foundation does not accept applications through fiscal agents and does not fund individuals, political organizations, conferences, meetings, fellowships, seed or start-up grants, or operating funds including salaries.
Deadline: Letters of inquiry due at 5:00 p.m. February 10, May 10, and August 10; full invited proposals due at 5:00 p.m. May 10, August 10, and November 10. LOIs are not accepted during the fourth quarter.
