Who can apply: Anyone can apply for support. For certain grant-funded projects, eligible applicants include organizations engaged in or preparing to engage in housing and community development in rural areas, including CDCs, CHDOs, local and county governments and political subdivisions, Native Nations, Tribal housing authorities and chartered entities engaged in Tribal community or economic development, and RHDOs. Statewide entities are not eligible. Support does not cover general operating support, direct housing services, direct construction or development costs, lobbying or political activities, or activities already funded by MHP.
