Regional Touring Program (Presenters Grants/Support)

Who can apply: Applicants must be eligible nonprofit or governmental cultural organizations incorporated in and conducting business in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, or Texas; have arts and culture as a central mission focus; have at least three years of arts engagement; provide a valid EIN and UEI; apply directly; and agree to M-AAA and federal compliance and crediting requirements. Projects must feature an in-region artist or ensemble from outside the applicant's home state, be open to the general public, include a feature presentation and outreach engagement, and occur within the region during the project period. For-profit organizations, fiscal sponsors, state arts agencies, public media organizations, and non-arts organizations are ineligible.

Deadline: Applications opened July 1, 2026 and are accepted on a rolling basis until funding for each state is fully awarded. Funded activities must occur July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027.

NW Kansas Arts Events Grants

Administered by Dane G Hansen Foundation

Who can apply: Organizations must be not-for-profit, governmental, or tribal entities. Events must take place in Northwest Kansas and include a performance or show plus an outreach arts activity. Applicants must secure funding for expenses beyond the artist contract, such as facility rental, food, and marketing. For Mid-America Arts Alliance touring artists, artists must come from outside Kansas but within the M-AAA service region.

Deadline: Applications are accepted at any time under the Foundation's regular monthly grant schedule; applicants should apply at least six weeks before the event. M-AAA touring allocations are available during the July 1-June 30 fiscal year until funds are exhausted.
