Who can apply: Michigan high schools, libraries, and other youth-focused community organizations may participate. Schools and organizations must register with the state Poetry Out Loud coordinator. Participating partners host local competitions and select a student representative.
Deadline: Registration opened September 9, 2026 and closes December 4, 2026. State finals are February 19–20, 2027.
