Who can apply: Applicants must be eligible organizations and complete a short eligibility quiz before submitting an application. The foundation considers public charities working in its listed program areas. Medical research is by invitation only. Ineligible requests include event sponsorships, endowment support, debt service, and requests to individuals.

Deadline: Trustees meet four times per year, with grant applications considered at the April, July, and October meetings. The deadline for a reviewed application to be considered at a board meeting is the 1st of the month prior to the meeting.
