Mary A. Crocker Trust Grants
Who can apply: Applicants must be charitable organizations with 501(c)(3) registration or organizations affiliated with a certified fiscal sponsor, based in one of the nine Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma. Requests must fall within one of the Trust's three focus areas. Preference is given to organizations founded and based in the Bay Area. The Trust does not make grants to individuals, does not award multi-year grants, and gives lower priority to capital campaigns, annual giving programs, scholarship programs, and equipment purchases. Organizations may be funded up to two times in a three-year period and are then asked to refrain from applying for three years.
Deadline: The Trust typically holds grantmaking meetings in May and November. For 2026, LOI deadlines were March 5 at 5 p.m. for the May 19 meeting and August 27 at 5 p.m. for the November 5 meeting. Based on this recurring twice-yearly schedule, the next expected deadline is March 5, 2027; the 2027 date has not been explicitly published.
