Who can apply: Applicants must be qualified public charities under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and operate primarily within the foundation's geographic service area. The foundation does not make grants to individuals and generally does not fund day-to-day operating costs or expenses. Organizations receiving a grant may not apply again for at least 12 months.
Deadline: February 28 and August 31; board meets in May and November. Completed requests must be received by the deadline date (or the prior working day if the deadline falls on a weekend/holiday).
