Who can apply: The fund welcomes grant applications from individuals, organizations, schools, and faith communities in the greater Washtenaw County area. Innovative, youth-focused projects are prioritized. Proposals should be new, one-time programs or extensions of existing programs that are new to the county or state. Public programs must include a short description of Irene Butter's biography and contributions and, if possible, her photo.
Deadline: Proposal submission deadline for 2027 is November 15, 2026. The fund intends to review and accept applications once per year in the fall.
