HCF Grant Opportunities Overview (General Community Grants)

Who can apply: Applicants must generally be nonprofit charitable organizations classified under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code or, in some cases, government agencies. Organizations must be located in or provide services to Hudson, Ohio. Generally, one grant request per 501(c)(3) organization is accepted per calendar year. Exclusions include religious organizations or events, private foundations, operating deficits or debt retirement, support to individuals, advertising, testimonial dinners, political organizations or campaigns, capital campaigns, and endowments.

Deadline: Two grant cycles annually. The 2026 deadlines were March 18 at 3 p.m. and September 16 at 3 p.m.; the next recurring deadline is expected to be March 18, 2027 at 3 p.m.
