Grant Application Process
Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations; for-profit initiatives are not funded. The Foundation generally does not fund annual campaigns, building or capital campaigns, endowments, fundraisers, pass-through organizations, reimbursement funding, startup organizations, projects exclusively serving religious purposes, political campaigns or legislative lobbying, direct donations or grants to individuals, or indirect costs and administrative overhead. Projects are primarily funded in Stark County, Ohio, and southeast Florida. Applicants seeking funding outside Stark County, Ohio, are by invitation only. Organizations may submit no more than one application per calendar year. Previous grantees must complete their grant and submit a final report before becoming eligible for subsequent funding.
Deadline: Letters of Inquiry may be submitted during January, May, or September. Full applications are due by the end of the following month for invited applicants: February, June, or October.
