Focus Area: Pride/LGBTQIA+ Funds for the Tampa Bay Diversity Chamber of Commerce Foundation Inc. are used to support educational programming for LGBTQ+ business owners and professionals. The Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to LGBTQ and allied students who exhibit leadership potential, demonstrate strong academic abilities, and are actively involved in school and community organizations as part of this Foundation.

Promote positive educational goals. This includes attendance, improvement in graded activities, completion of enrolled grade-levels, attaining a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED). Funds from this grant will be used for tutoring, testing and laptops for children.

The funds received will be applied to the Residential Services budget and will used to cover budget items like allowances for the children, recreational programs and activities, field trips, personal care items for the children, school/college related expenses and programs like mental health counseling and tutoring.

Focus Area: Human rights, Trafficking-Funds will be used to provide health and wellness services, inclusive of mental & behavioral health counseling, crisis interventions, and primary care services for our youth who have aged out of foster care, have been human trafficked, LGBTQ displaced, and other vulnerable at-risk situations.

Donation pledge for the Conine All-Star Classic 2024 to help aid in the foundation's objective to provide philanthropic support to the hospital to ensure quality, patient- and family-centered care is available to all children, regardless of their ability to pay.

Focus Area: Mental Health-The miniature horse farm caters to grieving children that have recently lost a loved one.

Focus Area: Veterans-Funds will be used for funding community events and for our annual hike that we have once a year. During the hike, we need police escorts so we are able to safely cross streets, provide water, snacks, and lunch for veterans during our events and annual hike, medical supplies and several other things we need to bring veterans out of isolation and into community.

Change for Change dollars will be used to support workforce programs in our community to train individuals for jobs that pay a living wage.

This grant will be utilized to continue funding research, education, and advocacy in Las Vegas by serving over 500 blood cancer patients (adults, children, and adolescents) with access to care, financial and co-pay assistance, and travel assistance.

Focus Area: Pride/LGBTQIA+Naples Pride provides inclusive programs and resources to the LGBTQIA+ Community of SWFL at our Naples Pride Center. Will use the funds to support such programs.

Focus Area: Children charities-Funds will be used to purchase and distribute school supplies to low-income students in the Las Vegas community.

Focus Area: Children charities-The funds will be used for continued counseling and sheltering for children and teens that have been neglected, abandoned, and abused in Collier County. Funds provide shelter and counseling to children who are waiting to be placed with foster families, and or services provided to teens who are aging out of the foster system to keep them from becoming homeless.

Focus Area: Women-The mission of Dress for Success SW Florida is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.

2023 Walk to End Alzheimers - Broward - Change for Change Donation

Focus Area: Children charities - The purpose is to provide support to His House Children's Home. This includes, but not limited to, the day to day living essentials needed in raising children as well as for the costs of restoration and remodeling of 16 homes on our campus where our children live. This includes the updating of worn-out furniture and appliances, interior painting, and dcor of the living/dining areas, and children's bedrooms. Each year, over 1,000 abused, abandoned and neglected children call His House their home. We are the largest residential campus in Florida and with this many children, we are in constant need of upkeep to maintain the homes with a clean, safe and warm environment, which plays a big role in the therapeutic services we offer them.

The Shade Tree is the largest shelter of its kind in the state, and the only 24-hour accessible shelter in the region designed specifically to meet the needs of women & children in crisis. As such, it is an expensive operation to not only maintain, but to improve. Additional funding will ensure continued support to offer current services, as well as implement new ones. It would be used to expand outwardly; purchasing safe houses in Las Vegas to house & support victims of human trafficking in an undisclosed location. The secret location provides an additional level of safety and security that will essentially enhance a survivor's healing and restoration. Also intending to implement wrap-around services including counselling and programing run within the houses.

Funding will support current staffing activities at the Drop-in Center, Outreach Efforts, Case Management and Therapeutic Services to include: human trafficking screenings, distribution of clothing/hygiene packs, food baskets/meals, computer access, Emergency Placement/Sheltering/Housing Options, Identification Replacement; MH/SUD treatment linkage; NJSNAP/GA/EA advocacy; Transportation; Legal Referrals; Immigration Relief/Assistance Referrals; GED Preparation/College application Assistance, Access to Survivor Mentors/Peer SUD Recovery Mentors and more.

This funding will support Operation HOPE Youth Programming through the Child Savings Accounts initiative. Your support will help us continue to ensure participating students and their families have the opportunity to develop financial plans for the future. The program will also provide financial workshops and coaching for students' parents and caregivers. Students will additionally receive financial literacy programming and college and career preparedness services throughout their K-12 experience.

Many kids are affected by having no father or father figure due to death or incarceration. Son of a Saint provides the stability, mentorship and opportunity a young man needs to grow up and be successful, a productive citizen in New Orleans and wherever life may bring him. The funds will go directly to Son of a Saint to help this mission.

Funding will offset expenses for granting 54 wish kids in the metro Atlanta area. Funding from the foundation will strengthen the capability to bring a wish come true for a child who spends so much time within the four walls of a hospital room.

The mission of New York Edge is to help bridge the opportunity gap among students in underinvested communities. New York Edge will dedicate this funding to arts programs. These programs aim to foster creativity, self-confidence and self-discipline.

Funds will be used for general operating support that will support play programs for children experiencing housing insecurity through programs at shelters, schools, and community sites throughout the D.C. region.

This funding would provide joyous experiences for our pediatric patients. For far too many of our youngest patients and their families, the emotional, physical and financial drains that accompany a cancer diagnosis are too much to handle without the support of specialized, trained professionals. It employ child life specialists to help our pediatric patients and their families understand all aspects of the journey they're on, psychotherapists to help address emotional ramifications, and many more professionals who contribute to our mission to care for the patient as a whole person, not just to treat their cancer.

The funding will be instrumental in addressing the financial disparity faced by families relying on our comprehensive therapy program at the Ann Storck Center. The children's academic and educational program places a strong emphasis on Speech/Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy, collectively forming a crucial component in the ongoing development of children with disabilities.Despite the essential nature of these therapies, many families, heavily dependent on Medicaid, find the coverage inadequate to meet the full cost of these services. This financial gap means that children either do not receive the complete set of services they require, or families are burdened with out-of-pocket expenses to ensure their child's therapy needs are met.The funds we seek to allocate will be directed towards bridging this financial disparity.
