Who can apply: Applicants must have current tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) and qualify as a public charity under Section 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2). Projects must directly benefit Maine residents. Priority is given to organizations and projects serving Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Aroostook counties, though other Maine communities may be considered.
Deadline: Applications accepted on a rolling basis from January 1 through December 1 each year.
