Leadership Grants (Better Together Fund)

Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations or projects aligned with the Community Foundation's grantmaking priorities and community plans. Ineligible projects include sectarian religious programs promoting a particular faith, ongoing annual operating support, and capital/infrastructure projects (bricks and mortar).

Deadline: Spring cycle: LOI due April 8 at noon; finalist applications due June 3; finalist presentations June 17; awardees notified June 17. Fall cycle: LOI due October 1 at noon; finalist applications due November 6 at noon; finalist presentations November 18; awardees notified December 9.

Strategic Alignment Grants (Better Together Fund)

Who can apply: Two or more nonprofit organizations exploring collaboration or strategic alignment around a community issue/priority; applicants are encouraged to meet with Community Impact staff before applying. Ineligible projects include ongoing annual operating and program expenses, capital infrastructure projects, sectarian religious programs, tactical items, and certain planning-only requests.

Deadline: Accepted on a rolling basis; decisions are communicated in approximately 10 business days.

Agency Funds (Endowment for Nonprofits)

Who can apply: Nonprofit organizations seeking a professional endowment vehicle and fund administration. Agency funds can be established by eligible nonprofit organizations; further details available from the Community Foundation staff.

Designated Funds

Who can apply: Donors designate an eligible nonprofit organization to receive distributions from the fund. The nonprofit must be a qualified charitable organization under applicable law.
