Community Grants (Community Grants Program)

Who can apply: Projects should connect communities to their rivers through cultural values, improved river health, education, recreation or access, or protect rivers, wetlands and aquatic or riparian habitat over the long term. Priority may be given to projects in and co-created with underrepresented, BIPOC and socio-economically challenged communities, particularly where project leaders and participants live in the communities served. Applicants must address project location, watershed, landowner permission and permits, partners, outcomes, budget, risks, DEI practices, and provide a project budget and most recent Form 990.
