The Eric B Yeiser Family Foundation Co Fifth concentrates its philanthropy on higher education scholarships in the Cincinnati area, directing all recorded grants to the University of Cincinnati and its College-Conservatory of Music. Its giving is focused and mission-driven, supporting student aid and arts-related scholarship programs rather than a broad mix of causes.
Highly concentrated: very few, large gifts all to a single institution (repeat grantee), focused on scholarship support rather than operational or program diversification.
Eric B Yeiser Family Foundation Co Fifth’s largest recorded grants are scholarship awards to the University of Cincinnati Foundation: $600,000 in 2025 and $550,000 in both 2023 and 2024. That pattern sets the tone for the foundation’s giving. Most of its activity centers on higher education access in Cincinnati, with the University of Cincinnati and its College-Conservatory of Music appearing as the clearest beneficiaries of its scholarship funding. The foundation’s grant history also shows steady support for a small circle of Cincinnati nonprofits through annual fund grants. Recipients such as Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled Inc, Cancer Family Care Inc, Multiple Sclerosis Clinic Fund, Freestore Foodbank Inc, Beechwood Home, and Crayons to Computers appear across multiple years, usually at amounts in the $40,000 to $65,000 range. That mix suggests a local portfolio built around recurring support rather than a wide spread of one-time awards. Alongside scholarships and annual support, the foundation has made some project or program grants, including to organizations serving housing, veteran, and disability-related needs in the region.
Higher education scholarships are the clearest throughline in the foundation’s giving. It awarded $600,000 to the University of Cincinnati Foundation in 2025, and the same grantee received $550,000 in both 2023 and 2024. The College-Conservatory of Music also appears in the record through a $550,000 scholarship grant in 2023. Beyond student aid, the foundation supports local human services and health-related organizations through annual fund grants. It gave $65,000 each to Cancer Family Care Inc in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and the same $65,000 annual support pattern appears for Multiple Sclerosis Clinic Fund and Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled Inc. Education support outside the university sector also shows up in the record. Springer School and Center received $25,000 in 2024, and Crayons to Computers received $40,000 in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Typical grant size is $25,000 at the 25th percentile, $40,000 at the median, and $65,000 at the 75th percentile, with scholarship awards far above that range. The record shows repeated grants to the same organizations across 2023, 2024, and 2025, indicating recurring annual support rather than one-off giving. The foundation funds individuals and organizations, and its grant labels include scholarship, annual fund, and project/program support. Its grantmaking is local and concentrated in Ohio.
