Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP)
Who can apply: Must be a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing; must provide in-person direct services to income-qualified Coloradans; direct service delivery must be the primary and most frequent use of the building; must own or lease the building and pay the energy bill for the occupied portion; must be an Xcel Energy, Atmos Energy, or Black Hills Energy gas customer; organizations primarily focused on religious services or animal welfare are not eligible; leased buildings require at least 3 years remaining on the lease, a renewal option, and a letter of owner support.
Deadline: Applications submitted April 2026 - December 2026 will be reviewed in January 2027; applications submitted January 2027 - June 2027 will be reviewed in July 2027.
