The Cameron Schrier (Egg) Foundation concentrates its funding on higher education and university-based initiatives, with large institutional gifts rather than many small grants. Egg Foundation Dba Cameron Schrier Foundation gives at university scale, with a recent pattern of repeated seven-figure and high-six-figure general support to a small set of institutions. UCSF Foundation received $1,000,000 in 2023 and $750,000 in both 2024 and 2025, while Howard University received $800,000 in 2023 and $700,000 in both 2024 and 2025. Across the recent list, the foundation funds general support, academic and research institutions, youth-serving organizations, and education-related work. Its grantmaking pattern is large, recurring, and institution-centered, with activity spanning the United States and South Africa.
