Delaplaine Foundation Annual Grant Cycle (General Operating & Program Grants)

Who can apply: Applicant must be an IRS-recognized tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) and 509(a), or eligible 509(a) public institutions. Fiscal sponsorship with valid 501(c)(3) acceptable. Delaplaine does NOT fund individuals (scholarships), government agencies, organizations without an EIN, or for-profit businesses.

Deadline: Annual application deadline: October 1 (midnight). Next listed deadline on site: 10/1/2026.

Returning Applicant Application

Who can apply: Nonprofits that have previously received grant funding from Delaplaine Foundation, but not within the past three years.

Annual Grant Cycle (First Time, Renewal, Returning Applications)

Who can apply: Nonprofits. First-time applicants are those that have never received a grant award, were previously denied, or previously received only a sponsorship. Renewal applicants must have received grant funding within the past three years. Returning applicants previously received funding but not within the past three years.

Deadline: First Time Grant Applicant Application: LOI due September 1; full application due October 1. Renewal and Returning Grantee Applications due October 1.
