Craig Newmark Philanthropies — Ongoing Support for Stuff that Matters (General Grants)
Who can apply: Applicants must generally provide an IRS determination letter or other qualified proof of public charity status, proof of active status with the IRS, and proof of active status with the applicable Secretary of State. Fiscal sponsorship agreements may be submitted where applicable. Cybersecurity clinics must address near-term impact on critical infrastructure, relationships with state or local cybersecurity officials, Consortium of Cybersecurity Clinics membership or plans to join, communications, and sustainability fundraising plans. Military family and veteran applicants are directed to a separate Bob Woodruff Foundation grant portal.
Deadline: CNP reviews proposals on a rolling basis. Contributions for multi-year efforts are released annually based on successful progress, including effective communications and collaboration.
