LA28 Resilience Champions Fund

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include registered nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations, community-based organizations, and fiscally sponsored projects. Partnerships and coalitions may apply if there is one lead nonprofit or fiscally sponsored project. Applicants should generally be from the greater Los Angeles region or collaboratives including an LA-based organization, with a successful track record of centering community needs. Government agencies, including school districts, and for-profit companies may not apply as lead organizations. Organizations currently contracting with LA28 are ineligible. Lead organizations may submit only one application per round, and no organization may receive more than $100,000 cumulatively in the round. Projects must be located in the Los Angeles region and close to the Games footprint, align with one or more focus areas, and be completed during the February 1, 2027-January 31, 2028 grant period. Primarily volunteer-based, primarily research-driven, advocacy, lobbying, political, and planning-only projects are not eligible.

Deadline: Applications are accepted September 9-October 30, 2026, with applications due October 30, 2026. Review occurs October 2026-January 2027; award notifications are expected in January 2027; the grant period is February 2027-January 2028.
