Competitive Grants - Brevard
Who can apply: Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations serving Brevard County that are legally chartered and registered in Florida and have an IRS determination letter declaring them public charities exempt under Section 501(c)(3). Organizations must have at least two years of operating history after receiving 501(c)(3) classification. Organizations based outside Brevard County must have at least two years of operational or programmatic history serving Brevard. Applicants must comply with applicable Florida charitable solicitation registration requirements. Ineligible applicants include private non-operating foundations, re-granting organizations, organizations operating less than two years, and organizations whose work does not directly benefit Brevard County.
Deadline: 2026 cycle: applications open April 30, 2026 and close May 21, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.; awards announced no later than September 1, 2026. The program is described as an annual competitive grant opportunity.
