About Chamberlin Education Foundation C/O Stephen W & Susan C Chamberlin
The Chamberlin Education Foundation C/o Stephen W & Susan C Chamberlin puts West Contra Costa education at the center of its grantmaking, with repeated support for school systems, educator pipelines, and community organizations serving students in Richmond and nearby cities. Across the recent grant list, the foundation funds both direct school support and the organizations that shape instruction, leadership, and access around those schools. Its portfolio includes grants to public school improvement groups, teacher development organizations, regional education advocates, and community-based youth-serving nonprofits. The pattern is consistent with a funder that works through program support rather than broad unrestricted giving, and that focuses on education infrastructure as much as classroom programs. Recent awards also reach school-affiliated and community-rooted grantees in Richmond, San Pablo, and Sacramento, all within a local California footprint.
