Who can apply: Eligible applicants include charitable organizations that meet IRS 501(c)(3) requirements, churches, and government entities. Organizations without a 501(c)(3) ruling may apply through a qualifying formal fiscal sponsorship arrangement. Coalitions may apply through a nonprofit fiscal sponsor that serves in a policy-setting role and is responsible for fiscal management and reporting. Requests should align with the foundation’s passion areas and geographic focus.
Deadline: Applications may be submitted at any time and are reviewed on a rolling basis. The process generally takes three or four months from submission to notification.
