Small portfolio (5 grants) of mid-to-large gifts ($25k–$75k) concentrated in health causes; repeat funding to select grantees rather than many small grants.
Baumann Foundation’s recent giving centers on health-related work for women, children, and single mothers, with repeated support for COVID-19 care and independent medical advocacy. The foundation’s largest listed grants are $50,000 awards, and it has paired those with smaller follow-on gifts, suggesting a pattern of targeted support rather than broad program spread. In 2024, it gave $50,000 to Flccc Alliance for COVID-19 care focused on women and children, and another $50,000 to McCullough Foundation for health education for women and children. In 2025, it made a $50,000 grant to Independent Medical Alliance for healthcare prevention and treatment. Earlier support included $25,000 grants in 2023 to Flccc Alliance and Children’s Health Alliance. The recurring emphasis is on direct care, health education, and advocacy organizations working with families, especially where mothers and children are the intended beneficiaries. The pattern also shows that Baumann Foundation is willing to revisit organizations over time, rather than limiting itself to one-time awards.
In COVID-19 care and treatment advocacy, the foundation gave $50,000 to Flccc Alliance for “COVID-19 care - women & children,” then renewed support with another $25,000 grant to the same organization in 2023. Health education is another clear thread: McCullough Foundation received $50,000 for “health education - women & children,” tying the funder’s priorities to educational support rather than only clinical services. Child and family health also appears through a $25,000 grant to Children’s Health Alliance for “children’s health - single mothers,” which places single-parent families within the foundation’s giving frame. A separate $50,000 grant to Independent Medical Alliance for “healthcare prevention & treatment” shows that Baumann Foundation also supports organizations focused on prevention and treatment infrastructure.
Baumann Foundation’s listed grants cluster around $25,000, $37,500, and $50,000, with the median at $37,500. The recent record shows a small number of sizable awards rather than many smaller gifts. It also shows repeat support: Flccc Alliance appears in both 2024 and 2023, indicating the foundation can fund the same recipient across years. The foundation is a private foundation structure in practice, with annual grants of $200,000 and total assets of $886,219 on the latest filing year. No individual giving or program-related investments are indicated in the provided data.
