Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Legal Services

Who can apply: Serves Massachusetts- and Connecticut-based individual artists, arts nonprofits, and other arts and cultural organizations in civil, non-criminal legal matters. Free services require financial eligibility: individuals must generally be at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guideline, and organizations must have an operating budget of $250,000 or less.

Deadline: Applications are submitted on an ongoing basis; applicants should generally expect to hear from the VLA within approximately two weeks.
