Active Learning (Preteens & Teens)
Who can apply: Applicants must be organizations designated as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code and classified as not a private foundation under Section 509(a). Grants are restricted to organizations serving Metro Boston communities within Route 128. Priority is given to organizations for which active learning is core to the mission, that provide intensive year-round involvement with a cohort of youth, and whose participants produce tangible products, services, or experiences benefiting the community. Programs serving fewer than 20 youth, short-term classes or events, tutoring, mentoring, college access, in-school programs, school programs, summer-only programs, and youth organizing are generally not priorities or excluded.
